Boy she really does have a God complex, doesn't she? I happen to like her, but this is ridiculous.

Oprah: I want O.J. to confess to me
Her iconic talk show may be over, but Oprah Winfrey still has a dream interview.

“I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me,” Winfrey said. “And I am going to make that happen, people.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the remarks were made during a Q & A at the National Cable and Telecommunications Association's annual Cable Show held at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center.
Paula Zahn, host of "Investigation Discovery," interviewed Winfrey Thursday, and the talk show host discussed being committed to growing her OWN network and that elusive guest she still wants to book.

“I don’t just want the interview,” Winfrey said. “I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson.”

And after that, she'll interview Eddie and he confess the actual lyrics to Yellow Ledbetter.

It's just a desperation move because OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) is tanking. During its first week it had an average of 500k viewers, after that it dropped off and has remained steady at about 135k. The channel it replaced (Discovery Health) had better ratings than OWN.

So now they're reduced to publicity stunts to try and get viewership up. Do we really need to give O.J. any more publicity? Everybody knows he did it, and his book "If I Did It" didn't help matters. I say just leave him in prison and not give him any more publicity, especially not for the sake of Oprah's ratings.

Chewbacca... is a Wookie... that lives on Endor.

...why would an 8 foot Wookie live on a planet with 3 foot Ewoks?

    It doesn't make sense?

And if that doesn't make sense... then you must acquit.

    (something like that)

I don't remember where I was for the verdict, I was 13-14 and not all that interested in the "Trial Of The Century". I do remember the day the bodies were found and OJ was first arrested and questioned. I was going to a Texas Rangers game with a friend, and his dad had to stop by his office on the way in, and we saw all the reports on T.V. I was kind of crushed because I was a big Naked Gun fan and couldn't believe Nordberg would kill somebody. Anyways, we went to the game and got to see the Rangers whip up on Seattle and Jose Canseco (thanks to steroids) hit the longest homerun ever in that park, a record that still stands.

I remember the police chase and the white car (bronco?) I was volunteering at a homeless youth shelter and we were watching it in real time.

I was the only caucasian in a primarily african american student union lounge watching it. The other students jumped out of their seats and applauded and shouted in celebration.

I was about the same age. Don't remember where I was for the verdict but I do remember the trial being on TV every day that summer...we didn't have cable so there wasn't much else on...and I remember the white bronco police chase
