    Yep, my favorite REM disc by far. Not sure that I'll pick this up though, I find that w/ a lot of reissues, I don't listen to the bonus disc too much.

    I remember the first time I played the album way back when....."begin the begin" was such a depature from "feeling gravity's pull" in terms of the first song on each album.

    Lifes Rich Pageant (and in particularly Fall On Me) was the album that made me a life long fan of the band. Happy to see it getting "the treatment."

    So looking forward to this. Hard for me to have a favorite REM album but I have a special love for this one.

    damn toughest tour to find a decent sounding boot

    yet the band was at it's peak!
    not sure why this one didn't have a live show like the previous reissues?

    I saw their 11/2/86 show at the Wang center in Boston (there is an audience boot ) and it remains one of my top 5 all time greatest concerts.
    stipe even made mention about that particular show in a rolling stone article so I was really praying it would be a bonus disc for this anniversary !

    I completely agree. It, along with Murmur are hands down my favorite R.E.M. records. Life's Rich Pageant just starts off with a major bang and continues through perfectly.

    Cuyahoga is by far one of my favorite sing-along songs.

    not sure how long those "Athens Demos" boots have been circulating, but i'm pretty bad about finding that stuff, unless it falls under my nose. New to me, anyhow. :D
