I just spent the better part of my day re-reading this entire thread...holy shit best weekend of my life! I just realized that I never got to try one of Patrick's famous pickles, so I do believe that we need to do this whole thing all over again. Even if PJ doesn't end up playing, let's just all show up in the Alpine lots on Labor Day and have ourselves a TAILGATE!WI '98, WI '99 (EV), WI '00, Chgo '00, MO '00, Champaign '03, Chgo '03, WI '03, IN '03, MI '04, Chgo '06:N1 & 2, WI '06, Chgo '07, Chgo '08 (EV:N1), Chgo '09:N1 & 2, Chgo '11 (EV:N1), WI '11:N1 & 2, Philly '12, Wrigley '13, Pitt '13, Buff '13, Detroit '14, MKE '14, Wrigley '16: N1 & N2, Seattle '18 N2, Wrigley '18: N1 & N2, Fenway '18 N1, STL '22, St Paul '23 N2, Chgo '23: N1 & N2, Wrigley '24 N1 & 20

Now that I'm up for. Let's just hope it doesn't rain this time around. So we can actually spread out and not burn ponchos on the grill.0 -

So we can actually spread out and not burn ponchos on the grill. The funny thing is I probably spent around $150 at the store the night before stocking up on brats and beer and fixins for the tailgate, hauled my table and chairs and tons of other crap in my sister's car...and used practically none of it (except the beer and brats!) because of the crappy weather. Pretty sure our ponchos are still in my sister's car!

What's funny was some people thought there was sea weed or something else on top of the jar the pickles were in. lol No sorry guys it's called dill weed, I guess they only eat pickles from the grocery store. LOL I was bummed cause after the show I found the jar of pickles laying in the grass. I guess somebody took them or tried too and just left it. Almost half were still inside but I wasn't gonna risk eating them cause god knows what somebody might have done to them. Such a waste. But for those of you that did have some of the pickles thank you and glad you enjoyed them.
Maybe next time Mamasan.0 -
