  • Yep I heard them on xm radio. They did a cool acoustic version of "Pumped up kicks". If you said the album is good I'm going to have to get it now. :)

Yes - there's a song called Helena Beat that I heard first, and on itunes you can listen to 90 second clips of all the tracks.

Pumped Up Kicks gets played on the radio in Los Angeles a lot and is a song that gets into my head. Helena Beat was a free download on iTunes a couple of weeks ago and I liked it too. I think I saw them on Jimmy Fallon and I wasn't that impressed with them live.

i'm suprised how much i like these guys because they are so poppy.

i'd call them pop over rock.

the song color on the walls is awesome.

I heard their one song, Pumped UP Kicks, back in Jan. at our local "alternative" online internet station, y-not radio. It/they reminded me of MGMT.

Good album. Saw them at Coachella and thought they put on a solid show. Love "Houdini" and a song called "Miss You".

This will probably sound kind of strange, but their lead singer's voice reminds me of David Gray (if he was in his early 20s and in a pop band).

Agree 100%. My 16-year old daughter loves them... and her current fave is MGMT, so I was not shocked at all.
Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.

Heard one of their songs on a local radio show a few months ago (can't remember what the song was) and I really enjoyed it. It was one of those things where I liked the song and really, really hoped they would say the name of the band afterwards. Luckily they did. I wanted to check them out but couldn't remember the name of the band until recently. Still need to check out their album. Glad some other people on here like them.

That Pumped up Kicks song has been getting quite a bit of play time lately. Always been a fan of bands matching up dark lyrics with poppy music.

That was the one that pulled me in. It was free on itunes a while back and I like to check out the free tracks. Its not frequent that you get a gem, but this was one. I like just about every song on the album. I'm hoping to catch a show somewhere when I can.
