Liven up you PJ iTunes bootlegs
If you use Itunes and it gets on your nerves that for your bootlegs the album cover art either sucks or is non existent I stumbled across a pretty cool way to jazz things up.
Open up iTunes, select all the songs from the bootleg whose artwork you want to change.
Then go to this website http://www.thecolorsblend.com/2003_2.htm and find the artwork for the show in question, they have almost every show's official poster artwork back to 1990.
Go back to iTunes, and with the songs highlighted right click and select "get info" then go to the cover art, and (at least on my Mac) I can just drag the poster from the webpage over to the "get info" box in iTunes and it knows what to do.
If that doesn't work you can still download > save > import but it still shouldn't be too hard.
Now you can actually put your iTunes in cover flow browse mode (to change modes go near the search box, select the icon one that looks like it might be the lost icon for 'stereo sound') and man does it look beautiful. Here's a peek at my results:

Remember that consecutive shows in the same town often (but not always) have the same poster. . .but who cares, this is still a 100% improvement.

Oh, by the way, the songs are attached to the album art too . That girl's whole blog is really good, but I'm going to cut to the chase and say that link is the best thing on it.
Can you tell I do tech consulting for a living? Hopefully this isn't a repost, I'm sort of new to the pit (but an old school 10-clubber).
Remember, if you're selling for current tour I'm all ears, private message me. I thought I'd be out of the country when the tix went out sale, turns out I'm here and ticketless . . .and sad. . .arg. . .I'm potential for any show and even driving there from Chicago.
More about me (including links to my flickr, twitter, youtube, facebook, etc.) are all on my blog, http://www.elvis-in-vegas.com. Not a PJ haven - its just to generate buzz for my consulting projects but if you wanted to see who that guy is on the other side that is searching desperately to go to a show, you'll see he's is me and does things like makes cheezy music videos with his dog and Pearl Jam doing Pete Townsend covers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZoS7SvbdLQ.

How do you do this? I right-click on the posters and can't copy the images. Can anyone help. I'm using a PC and have a Zune 80.
Thanks!
I tried that way as well, with no luck.
Don't right click, just drag it. It will work.
