My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12
Ukulele Songs, Eddie Vedder
Codes & Keys, Death Cab For Cutie
21, Adele
I also bought the blu-ray for Water on the Road but I'm not watching it until after I see eV live since I've never seen him live before (not counting the Tibetan Freedom show in '99). I don't want to ruin the surprise.
So far I'm all about Adele. A friend texted me to ask what I think of the album. I shot back "I'm in love with a brokenhearted British girl." If she did nothing but classic R 'n B in the vein of "Rolling in the Deep" for the rest of her career I would be in heaven.
I love buying CD's. I never want to go the all download route.
Awesome As F**k - Green Day
Into the Wild
before that, it was Soundgarden-Live on I-5
I was really surprized that Mr. RK kinda likes Adele, saw her on Chelsea Lately...she kicks ass!
- Christopher McCandless
"Becoming a Bruce fan is like hitting puberty as a musical fan. It's inevitable." - dcfaithful
EV - Ukelele Songs
MMJ - Circuital (I just can't get into this MMJ..its actually pretty terrible)
Grizzly Bear - Vecktamist (Awesome!!!)
Please do! She has a really powerful voice, though...the fact that her main inspiration is Spice Girls slighltly disturbs me... :?
- Christopher McCandless
I know it's outdated. I just really enjoy it.
Last ones I bought were:
EV Uke Songs
Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee Part 2
Fitz and the Tantrums - Pickin' Up the Pieces
MMJ - Circuital
G. Love - Fixin' to Die
Mike Gordon - Inside In LP
I hate the idea of not being able to buy CDs.
I heard some of that Beastie Boys in a friends car the other day.. sounds awesome, I cant wait to get it! is there a part 1?
How's the G-Love??
Have you listened to the MMJ? I just can't get into it. I actually had to go back and listen to 'Z' to remind myself tha tI liked them.
I think I love her even more now.

I have definitely enjoyed the Beasties cd, it's pretty awesome. There is no hot sauce committee part one, but they haven't changed a bit.
I LOVE the new G Love, with the Avetts producing it, ahh it is so good. I let it loop for weeks.
As for the MMJ, I need to listen more to really give it a fair shot. I will report back, but as of an initial listen I enjoyed it, just wasn't really jumping out at me.
