I went to buy some CD's today and splurged:
E.V. - Uke songs
Ben Harper and the relentless 7 - White lies for dark times
Band of horses - Infinite arms
Neil Young - Le noise
My morning jacket - Z
Adele - 21

I also got the Water on the road DVD.

So, what was the last CD you bought?

I haven't gotten a physical CD In years. I think it was Tool 10,000 Days.

Last album off iTunes was Foo Fighters: Wasting Light. Best album I've heard in a long time

A week or so ago I bought:

    Ukulele Songs, Eddie Vedder
Codes & Keys, Death Cab For Cutie
    21, Adele

I also bought the blu-ray for Water on the Road but I'm not watching it until after I see eV live since I've never seen him live before (not counting the Tibetan Freedom show in '99). I don't want to ruin the surprise.

So far I'm all about Adele. A friend texted me to ask what I think of the album. I shot back "I'm in love with a brokenhearted British girl." If she did nothing but classic R 'n B in the vein of "Rolling in the Deep" for the rest of her career I would be in heaven.

I love buying CD's. I never want to go the all download route.

Adele 21-it's been out of stock in stores here

before that, it was Soundgarden-Live on I-5

I was really surprized that Mr. RK kinda likes Adele, saw her on Chelsea Lately...she kicks ass!

Please do! She has a really powerful voice, though...the fact that her main inspiration is Spice Girls slighltly disturbs me... :?

I really liked the band of horses CD (my wife liked it too). I need to give the MMJ CD another listen or two to get a better feel for it. I bought both CD's pretty much because I have read good things about the bands here on the forum.

I have definitely enjoyed the Beasties cd, it's pretty awesome. There is no hot sauce committee part one, but they haven't changed a bit.

I LOVE the new G Love, with the Avetts producing it, ahh it is so good. I let it loop for weeks.

As for the MMJ, I need to listen more to really give it a fair shot. I will report back, but as of an initial listen I enjoyed it, just wasn't really jumping out at me.
