Couldn't agree more, (though I had quite the run in the late 80s, seems like I'm finally getting back to a good stride!) this year is turning out to be fantastic, I've had to make some tough choices and wondering just how many I can pack in, still on the fence over a number of shows, but doing awesome so far!

    Already Seen:
David Gray - Davis Symphony Hall, SF
Leo Kottke -- Uptown Theater, Napa
    The Dodos - Fillmore, SF
Robert Plant/Band of Joy -- Greek Theater, Berkeley
    Chris Cornell - Filmore, SF
Brandi Carlyle - Uptown Theater, Napa
U2/Lenny Kravitz - Oakland Colesium, Oakland

    Coming Up:
Peter Garbriel - Greek Theater Berkeley
Rush (x2) - Gibson Amphitheater, Concord Pavillion
Peter Murphy - Bottom of the Hill, SF
    Deep Purple/Satriani - Concord Pavillion
Neko Case - Mt Winery, Saratoga
    Soundgarden - Civic Center, SF
Eddie Vedder (x3) - Oakland and Seattle!
    Ray Lamontaigne - Greek Theater
    OUTSIDE LANDS FESTIVAL! WHOA!
    and
    Pearl Jam - VANCOUVER!

Forgetting a few others, Costello, Folds, right (aced out on Death Cab tix, suxors) -- still on fence for Willie Nelson, Brian Wilson and more at the newly reopened Uptown Theater in Napa. Few wineries around here have some awesome summer/fall schedules that I'll probably catch a few more shows at. Been hecka fun picking and choosing! WOOT!

What else can I squeeze out of this summer?

Nice, another CAKE fan! It definitely has been a good year so far for concerts. Here are mine to date:

    CAKE - Santa Clara, CA
Chris Robinson's Brotherhood - Oakland, CA
    Eddie Vedder - Oakland, CA
Ben Harper - San Francisco, CA
Pearl Jam - East Troy, WI

Potentially looking to catch the Foo's when they swing through CA as well.

Dig your musical taste in music there bro! I might have to go check out Peter Murphy with the wife and relive some of our mod days as teenagers! And how did I miss Chris Cornell playing the Fillmore???
