Just saw him play 2 shows at a small theater in Denver... WOW!!! Last night's show was at least 2.5 hours long. AWESOME setlists, definitely switched them up between the two nights... What a good dude!

I have had nothing but good experiences at Ben Harper shows. I had a PJ shirt on one time and he kept pointing at it during the show. Talked to him briefly afterwards once and he was pretty damn cool.

I only saw him last year when he was opening for PJ in Dublin, Belfast and London and I have to say I was kind of disappointed. I love him, all the record, he is on of my favorite artist, maybe I was expecting too much, maybe it's just because he was opening band and all the song where the same pretty much in all 3 shows I don't know but I was really sad because of that
I need to give him a second chance on his show only not on festival or like opening band full BH show

the lineup at PJ20 still boggles my mind... Ben will NOT be there, I heard it in person, from Ben himself.

But hey, at Least Josh Homme will be there

yeah, that's what I'm saying, Ben has been a friend of the band forever... that's how I heard about him, they put an article in the 10C Newsletter, think I was a freshman in highschool...

Josh Homme SUCKS, Kyuss is better without him, and qotSA has nothing to do with PJ

Yea man, QOTSA is a bloody weird one.

How is QOTSA that weird? They're no different from PJ than the Strokes, MMJ, Bad Religion, Ben Harper or any of their other opening bands, and it seems like Homme and Stone are friends.

because I thought PJ20 was supposed to be bands that have had something PJ related over the years... and because Josh Homme is an arrogant prick!

I'm a fan of Ben Harper and was at those 3 shows, I thought they sounded great and I say they because it was BH with Relentless 7 and not BH solo. I too was slightly disappointed they didn't mix it up a little more, but I wasn't all that suprised as it was BH and Relentless 7 supporting their album and not BH solo. I'd highly recommend catching a Ben Harper solo show though, he's great.

I know where you're coming from as I too was a little suprised and disappointed if I'm honest with the line up, but I guess Stone has known the Queens guys from a long time back too as Loosegrove put out their first album in 1998 (think that's right!) and they've played with them a few times which I guess is your point as they've toured with Ben Harper god knows how many times.
