    Amen
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

Exactly. No way the US could have done it alone.

We were at a WWII airshow yesterday where they had all sorts of WWII planes flying and on display. They also had reenactors camped out with all the guns and vehicles and they put on a few 'battles'. We go every year and my sons have really learned a lot about history through this and I think they are gaining an appreciation for what people went through during that war as well as other wars. We enjoy seeing all the planes, tanks, guns and stuff, but also know that war is something to try to avoid. My sons' grandfather was in the US infantry in WWII and fought in France and Germany and used to tell some great stories about it. Some things he would not talk about, but one thing that stands out is the enthusiasm they had to join up and go to war, he could not wait to be old enough to enlist.

It just still amazes me what those soldiers did, the sacrifices so many made.
