    Laws don't apply to rich people.

    They don't pay taxes, don't go to jail, never get the death penalty no matter what they do, don't have to work hard but get the best jobs and get the world handed to them on a platter.

    This happened pretty close to where I live so I've been following it a bit.
    Sadly, there are too many shady things that go on in south florida with all these rich folks. Too many of them know they can buy their way out of trouble so they constantly live their lives outside of the rules.

    This guy is obviously one of them. He's a monster.
    Ok, he made a bad decision and likely killed two people on accident. But to leave the scene and let those guys just lay there and die is despicable. He got off WAY TOO EASY.

    I am never quick to say this, but I hope he rots in hell.
    scratch that. I hope he burns in hell, then rots..then someone uses his face as toilet paper for eternity.

    The judge, prosecution team, and even the widows should be ashamed of themselves. Being as the victims were pharmacy executives (I'm guessing the widows are not living on skid row), taking a bribe for "closure" on a civil lawsuit is despicable.

    But then again, this did happen in Florida.

    time and life have a way squaring up a bad deal,he will probably in time be his own down fall,I'm glad the two women took the money over him the prison time.

    I don't think you should be able to buy your way out of serious trouble, but sadly the laws don't seem to apply to the rich. This guy was on probation for a serious crime and had 50 motoring violations...

    I agree but in this situation it soundsd like money or time and the widows need the money and I still think he will be his own dimise in the end.
