Best Mudhoney album to start with...

If one had zero Mudhoney albums in their collection and wanted to buy one to get the best feel for their music while combining some of their more popular tunes that they may play at a concert, which album would you pick? I was thinking their Greatest Hits / Rarities compilation March to Fuzz would be the best. Anything better?

This, although the 2nd cd is a lot of b sides covers and messing around.

Piece of cake and Superfuzz Bigmuff are good starts too.

What compels people to bash bands in the other music section? Congrats on not liking them- plenty of people do.

I would start with Superfuzz Bigmuff Plus Early Singles.

I started with their latest, "The Lucky Ones"

It's a pretty solid rock album. I still listen to it regularly.

March to Fuzz Disc 1 yes.

I'd probably pick My Brother the Cow or Tomorrow Hits Today. What one did ya get?

No, fantastic album from a fantastic band. But I would have started with Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge.
