If people didnt panic...
Didnt lose their minds......

Most everyone could have gotten SEATS for both days...
They might not have been the best seats in the house....
But they were seats....

Right???
Take me piece by piece.....

  • This is why I don't understand that major meltdowns that comes with the pre-sales. Sure, it is a big relief if you get Ten C seats b/c you know you are going to have seats and most likely they are going to be good. However, there is always a public sale and I bet that most everyone who wants seats are able to get seats.

Its just fun to watch the panic, the insanity, the stupidity, the nonsense....

Now I get to sit back the next 4-8 weeks and watch the scheming.....did I spell that right???

Cuz EVERY YEAR the same people come here and plot and scheme to get thmeselves closer to the stage..They have tickets, but thats still not good enough. Now the real fun starts for them.

And its the same people...Year after year after year.....

its pretty sickening isnt it? over the years my tour pals and i have referred to these fans as vultures...kinda pecking away at the generosity of others...some of them dont care who they have to fuck or fuck over to get the best seats possible... as great as a good portion of this fanbase is... there are a select few that come out around tour time. I mean you have 5th fucking row seats... why can't that be good enough? And yes i am speaking of an actual time an acquantance of one of my friend had said meltdown because they were in row 5!
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
  • I wish I got seats. I think I am losing my touch. I refreshed right at 10 and hit best avaliable and I got lawn. Really bummed. I'm hoping 10 club will let live nation ticket holders in the 10 club areas.

I agree with you, I was glued to the message board the day of the EV pre-sale, there was drama worthy of a soap opera. I didn't realize that there was scheming for better seat...hmmm...

My FAVORITE few special people, havent posted yet...But they will, they do EVERY YEAR...

Even though there are 25 seats still available right now on ticketmaster for Saturday....These people wouldnt even think of buying those...

They will come on the board, whine, cry, give their sob story and try to get the best seats they can. Then if/when you offer them a seat....The 1st things out of their mouth is..."Whats your 10club#"???

These people are my favorite...And best of all, they really have NO INTENTIONS of actually paying for seats. Somehow, someway they will find a way to take advantage of some poor soul here. THEN, after getting their free tickets, then they work on getting free motel, hotel. Then they work on getting the free rides to the show....

    I see it every year...
    The same people...
    Doing the same scam.....
using the same pathetic sob story....

I didn't understand the big deal about Ten Club seats for this show. Unless you win the lottery or have a stellar fan club number, you aren't going to be close to the stage. Plus, one of the nights you are getting lawn seats. I guess people will trade and be in the TC seats both nights, but I don't see a big difference at all between a TC lawn seat or GA lawn seat.

this was my first time as a pj fan trying to get tickets thru fan club and yes it was unreal how poorly the ten club ran this and yes i did like many of you take the time those days to sit and refresh for hours only to have ur cc entered ready to buy then have the ole error message or whatever....so anyways i didnt panic or get angry with 10club cause like all the other shows ive gone to since 03 i wud just have to find a way to get tickets...and yea was no problem was able to get lawns for both nights today during the public sale so no worries yea was a hugeeeee waste of time and not getting any reserved seats but i could care less as long as i am in the venue for these shows....cant wait to see everyone there goin to be a great time

I've said this before but it's worth saying again. I've seen two different people have meltdowns for getting third row. One of these women has been to over a hundred shows and 1st row for probably dozens of them. It's really ridiculous. I've also seen people leave their friends in the cold at the last minute with an extra ticket at showtime because they found a way to upgrade. It's the ugly side of PJ touring fans....

I know one person who always does this...tells people he will pay them back etc...but never does :(

  • so when all is said and done...

being one of the people who called at 10 am to discover the only seats available were about 20 feet closer than the lawn, this is the boat a few of us are in... the 10c members who were not able to get tickets during the pre-sale will more than likely have to go through a ticket broker if they don't want lawn seats. Going through a broker, or professional scalper as I refer to them, will guarantee a substantial increase in ticket cost. anywhere from 300-1000%, literally. As one of the unlucky few that was not able to get pre-sale tickets, I've be doing a little digging into just ONE of these "pro-scaping" sites and found over 2,500 tickets for sale, at extremely unreasonable prices, for the first night alone, ONE NIGHT, over 2,500 tickets purchased by brokers who are just out to make a buck, actually tens of thousands of bucks, at the 10c members expense.

So I can understand if there are some 10c members out there that may be a little upset and/or disappointed, but that's the luck of the draw...

and the difference between GA Lawn and 10c Lawn, is the wristband allowing you access to the 10c area, where you can hang out and chill with your friends from the forums and other like minded PJ fans and have clean toilets, beverages and a shady tent. you will also have a fenced off section of the lawn, the front most portion, to buckel down in before the show gets started. in this case, grass is not grass.

enjoy the awesomest weekend ever everyone and take care of one another, hope to see you there
