A fool and his money are easily parted...i laugh at anyone who pays that much for a concert. Funny thing is, I was offered $1000 a piece for my MSG night 1 last year by a scalper and turned him down....my friends thought I was nuts but my girlfriend was proud of me and we had a BLAST. Money...the root of all evil."If you want a friend, feed any animal." - JA

What's the link to those ticket sales? I'm curious because there is no section 3 or row C at AV.a big record just broke in Belgium.0

I was offered a 1,000 bucks last year at MSG2 as well. As soon as I opened my envelope the girl was on me...like right over my shoulder is was creepy!! $1,000 is hard to refuse but all I thought about was missing that concert and that wasn't worth the money.0 -
Same here bud....I was totally creeped out as well, the guy was like a shady crack head. I must admit, it would have been nice to take my girl to Los Cabos but I wanted to take her to her first PJ concert and I'm the paranoid type that thinks it was a 10C set up just to see how loyal I was and then kick me out. Lucky music (Pearl Jam's especially) is my life and I can never put a price on what I love the most."If you want a friend, feed any animal." - JA

Some guy was offering a $1,000 to my friend for his tickets for MSG II in 08. I was totally thinking it was a 10C employee too! We turned him down of course.I won't change direction, and I won't change my mind - E.V.

. Once money is exchanged you'll have all your 10c rights revoked . You'll never again be able to battle for picks from mike or have Ed's sweat drip on you again. And don't even think about ever sipping that boone's farm wine he passes around either. Back to ticketbastard for you  . Seems that needlessly it's getting harder, to find an approach and a way to live

Is it any difference if one who lives in East Troy buy a ticket for 1000$ a day or me spendig 2000$ for 10C tickets and flight from Sweden?

Ask the guy that dropped $2700 on his VIP tickets that he was promised would be better than 10c Tickets how he felt when Alpine Valley admitted that their was a miscommunication and his seats would be behind all of the 10c tickets. Don't believe the hype, I bet the tickets are worse than mine will be and I have a member # in the 455k range. F5 for life, baby!!!!Memorial Stadium, Seattle - Jul 21 22, 1998

The scalpers in NYC that were offering $1000 a ticket would have paid you with 20 $100 bills...and they would have been all FAKE bills...it is an unfortunate and COMMON scam run by scalpers in big markets...think about this, how would a 'crackhead-type' have $2000 in cash to give you for your tickets"No way to save someone who won't take the rope, and just lets go..."0 -
