Frustration & Distance & Love

There's such frustration with distance and misunderstanding
and yet we struggle
back and forth
to try to understand the drive in this direction
and there's growth in the struggle
speaking, trying, communicating ideas and feelings
we practice crossing over again and again
and luckily
(luckily)
wonderfully,
we do get better at crossing over to the essence of spirit
to the place of nothing and everything
we want to try so many times
and I think that's where our luck lies
it's in the desire to try so many times
love and good fortune of spirit,
it's connected

This reminds me of a definition (which I side with) of enlightenment that I've recently come across.
