No-Brainer Setlist Songs for '08 Tour

Hey Guru's-
Going to my 3rd PJ concert and getting uber-psyched for it. Wanted to hear your guys thoughts on what would be "no-brainer" songs that the boys would do for us. Not so much songs you'd like to hear/ones you think they should play. I guess what I'm getting at is what if any songs do you think we would be almost-guaranteed to hear. Thinking about my question again and its kind of a silly one b/c there are way too many to choose from, which is why I am having a lot of trouble myself narrowing it down... so just best guesses.

The basis for this question also relates to the fact that I'm taking my "casual fan" younger sister-in-law to the concert and she asked me to give her a list of songs for her to make a playlist for herself to get prepared for her first PJ concert... want to be sure I prepare her well, and as I said I think I am letting my personal favorites cloud my judgement for this tour.

Thanks guys

Alive, Corduroy, Evenflow, Crazy Mary, Betterman are all very good guesses. I would definitely start from there. There is a feature on PJ.com that allows you to see the most played song.
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

Forgot about Daughter, Elderly Woman, Worldwide Suicide, and Black. The first and the last are played about every other night. The middle too pretty much always.

Even Flow is definitely a staple, I personally would like to see them put it in the vault for a few years.

I remember Reading VFC without EF. Awesome show. I didn't miss EF , as much as I love it, at all. I wouldn't mind PJ putting it to bed and using Half Full, Little Wing, Alive, Yellow Ledbetter and any others you can name as vehicles for Mike's immense improvisational and soloing skills.

I second the Little Wing motion. All in favor?

Here's to hoping that Ed got sick of playing WWS in '07 :)

sorry. I guarantee they will play that song at every show. I'm not one who believes these shows will go really heavy on Avocado ... but WWS, Severed Hand and probably Life Wasted/Reprise will be staples.

Obviously, they'll play Who You Are and Angel. Those are pretty much no-brainers.

    Right? Anyone? Bueller?

I've been to 4 shows, and never heard Daughter, Go, or Small Town.

And yet, I've heard Leatherman 3 times, Hard To Imagine twice, Crown of Thorns, Rats, Breath, Indifference as a closer, Present Tense as an opener, Bee Girl...go figure. You're gonna hear great songs at every show.

they didn't play it in 4 of the 14 shows last year...which is more I ever thought it'd be can for! 2 shows in the row even  (Wembley and Düsseldorf)
made it better when it came back :)

but apart from that, no guarantee at a particular show...last year Given to Fly was the only one played every time but 1 (Vic right?)

    - Present Tense
    - Not for you
    - Dissident
    - Faithful
    - Deep
    - Animal

I would bet money that Yellow Ledbetter will be sung at all the shows I'm going to!... as much as I always say I want to hear another closer, I still get all fired up and excited when the lights go up and Mike goes to town!!!!
