I was wondering if anyone has met the guys by waiting after the shows by the bus? I have thought about waiting after the shows, and I have been successful in the past with other bands, but I was wondering if PJ ever came out? I have no problem being patience, listening to the security guards screaming: "they are already gone, trust me I am telling you the truth. You are just wasting your time",If there is even a slight possibility of meet one of the guys.

I don't have the patience for this kind of stuff. Or maybe I just like going home and sleeping.

i was fortunate in SF to meet everyone in the band except Stone but it happened because I couldn't catch a cab..

the guys couldn't have been any nicer.. seems like a lot of venues have it where the buses are fenced in but you never know when Ed will wonder around .. London in 05 is one example
    Nashville '00
    Houston, B'ham, Nashville, Atlanta '03
    Toledo, Grand Rapids '04
    Kitchener, London '05
    Camden x 2, D.C., Cincy, San Fran x 3 '06
    Chicago '07
    Columbia '08
    MSG x 2 '10;
    PJ 20 x 2 '11
    Atlanta '12
    Wrigley '13
    St. Louis, Memphis '14

It might be easier to meet them before a show.

My buddy literally bumped into Eddie in the parking lot before one of the Mansfield shows in '03. Eddie's mode of transportation that day? His bicycle...

He got to shake his hand and said he was very cool and laid back. As they say in life, ya never know.

good idea... they would be trying to rush anywhere before the show.

In all honesty, many bands take off before you can even get to their bus. They often have vans or cars to take them to their hotel, unless you catch them on a night when they are riding the bus overnight.
I happened to end up in London last summer on the night of a PJ show and (thank God) knew someone on the tour who got me in. I stood on the side of the stage all night (amazing) and as I was walking back to the back door right after the show, the band (except Ed) was already pulling out as I was walking out.
Bands spend immense amounts of time in venues, so most try to make their time in the building no longer than the actual show.
