    I don't think so - I didn't have a problem.

It is really funny how everyone on this board thinks 10c is only holding like 200 seats for fan club and the other 18-20000 are going to ticket master
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
  • Question: has the fan club always charged all the fees with the tickets? I know they are this time...it is quite possible that they are charging fees so they can meet all the fan club demands. What do you guys think?

i don't think that at ALL. i am thinking 1000 pairs per venue at most if it has a 20,000 capacity. knowing the rabid pj 10c fans particularly in the NE, i thought camden would be GONE! almost 2:45...and they are still here! altho, i asm in the NE and i am passing....so who knows? just makes me more and more hopeful for DC and both MSGs. i hope it as smooth for ALL tix sales!

I think most people are thinking around the 10% figure. Seems to be the general consensus.
  • I think theres even more then that.

For places like MSG i wouldnt be surprised if there was 2000-2500 pairs for the 10c maybe even a little more..

Thats about 4-5000 10c members going to the show.

Wasnt it around 6000 10c members at MSG 1 and 7-8000 at MSG 2 in 2003??

    [or am I completely off?]

When they played Wembley, the floor standing was all 10C. Not too sure how many that was, but it was a lot! Fantastic atmosphere too!

msg 2003 there were no fan club ticket limits, so yes...msg had 8k 10c members for night 2. and it STILL wasn't enough tickets, had oversold, thus offered the holmdel ticket trade. the BIG issue since then, from 2004 onwars, there was an inmposed fanclub ticket limit of 10% of the venue, or so we were told. perhaps it's been lifted? dunno. but last of any news, it was still in effect, and thus why so many of us who live in these ares atruly sweat out the whole ticket buying process. :p

    ah, ok

and believe you me, I hoping for MSGx2 tomorrow so im sweating balls! Just trying to think positive...

And Camden is STILL available, so maybe whithout touring for an album those restrictions have been lifted or the number is higher then 10%..

i honestly have NO idea hwo it all works, and sure...who knows? we have not been given updated info on ticket limits, or not, in ages. just wish we knew so we'd NOT be worrying unnecessarily. i LOVED the days of seemingly unlimited 10c tix to regular gigs. i realize for the smaller shows, always a crapshoot...but for the bigger shows, it really shouldn't be a worry, and it has been after 2003. i HAVE been lucky always scored tix to every show i tried for....but i don't want my luck to run out...and yes, each time, a bit harrowing, be nice not to have the worry. eh well, 10c/pj seem to enjoy shortening my life. ;)

I really think we are getting hit with all the fees on the tickets so Ticketmaster doesnt take a loss on tix sold to fanclub. For all we know it maybe that only 10% of the tickets can be sold without the service charges and fees. So maybe PJ was like "give us as many fanclub tix we need, and we will charge the added fees to our fans and compensate you for the money that you are not making off tix sold thru tickemaster." It is very possible. I think everyone here would be fine with paying the fees if it meant a much higher chance on getting tix thru 10c.
