Good day all fellow Jammers. I just wanted to say hello and im glad to be finally part of this forum! Long time viewer, first time poster! Hope to speak to you all soon!
In the off chance Ed ever brought a small solo tour to Oz, where could / would he play? I live in Melbourne and would love to see him at The Forum Theatre! Apart from my backyard / lounge room that is! Im sure there are other places though. Any ideas oz fans!

Ummm... trying to think but I haven't lived in Oz in over 4 years and not in Melbourne in 11, the only place that I can think of is The Espy. As for Sydney, I always loved going to gigs at The Metro. No idea if it's still being used as a venue, but the staggered steps meant you could always see no matter where you were. Nice, small and intimate Phoenician Club, except it doesn't exist anymore :( I also saw alot of good shows at Selinas/Coogee Bay Hotel, namely Jeff Buckley (:(), Soundgarden, Tea Party, Hole (not great but interesting to watch). As for slightly bigger, maybe The Enmore Theatre, also saw Jeff Buckley there.
I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!
"Life Is What Happens To You When Your Busy Making Other Plans" John Lennon
ha ha ha... sorry, canadians get asked that a lot i wanted to see how it felt.
(not that satisfying, actually... esp cos he already posted in the thread haha)
anyways, welcome.
whew, i'm im a weird mood tonight.
The venues that appeal the MOST to me are definitley the Forum, but then there's the Palais or maybe he could play at Hamer Hall?, but i think the most beautiful venue of ALL for him to play at would DEFINITLEY be the forum, with it's beautiful Gothic like architecture and feel ..it definitley makes for the PERFECT Venue!!!
And as much as I would DIE for Ed to do some solo shows here, I also think we need another HUGE dose of PJ live..last saw em 3 times in 06.. and i am SOOOO Hanging out for more
i have heard that mick guy is a total loser!
I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!
the palais is a good one! or maybe sidney myer music bowl with ben harper or jj?
saw them 3 times in melb also i was so desperate to go again i brought tickets to adelaide but couldnt go in the end because of work and those tickets never got used

I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!
I saw Missy Higgins at the enmore last year and that venue sucks! We were in the 2nd row of seats with our kids and couldn'e see a thing if you were sitting down. So I had to stand up- I wasn't paying money to see peoples back's, and this jerk was yelling at me from behind to sit down. He kept going for 5 songs. It ruined the whole show. I will never go there again, unless it is to see EV or someone.
I think The best venue in NSW is the Uni bar here in Bathurst. PJ should play a gig there. Then I wouldn't have to travel 6 hours just to see them!
i love the emore, but i always get GA there!
i have been to some amazing shows there
I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!
Me too! But sometimes it does depend on where you're sitting. All-in-all, it's a good smallish venue. Not too big, not too small, still intimate. Same goes for the State Theatre, it's a similar size, probably a little nicer
Strangest times I ever got told to sit down was Paul McCartney at Parramatta Stadium in '93 and Kylie at the Entertainment Centre. At Paul McCartney I found security and was escorted up the front (I was in row 7 on the field anyway) and at Kylie I told them to get up and ignored them.
For Sydney mid-size venues I prefer the State over the Enmore.
