    Josh Freese is a monster
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

It's really weird to hear Cuomo's vocals on this song.

Pretty sweet cover...Is that Weezer's drummer on guitar?

I think the singin helped put a Weezer stamp on it without overtaking the tune.

Pretty good and, yes Josh Freese is a monster. Certainly beats the hell out of their State Farm Insurance song. If you haven't had a good douche chill in a while:

My favorite Radiohead song! I haven't really been a Weezer fan in a while but they did a pretty good job on it, thanks for the link!
  • god it was the most boring part of the show.

and when i realized that the "count back to the blue album" meant, "yup, we're playing the blue album straight through and then we're out" (realized that about 3 songs from the end of the first set, which was just all the stupid hits off all the "other" albums -- beverly hills, hash pipe, pork n beans, scorcho, island...) i started to crash.

I mean, c'mon ... i went to see Weezer at the borgata to hear them play some good shit, not to see 1994 rehashed all over again.

Surfwax was the highlight for me.
    Everything else was "meh".

Rivers walked through the crowd extensively at the start of the show, and they were being filmed the whole time.
    that was kinda cool.

    But for the money,
i was *really* hoping to hear some of the newer stuff and some of the back catalogue.
i also really really wanted to hear Put Me Back Together, Dope Nose, Pink Triangle, and a few others. None of which got a chance to be heard. :(

    sigh. maybe next time.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

I really didn't expect to like it, but it was kinda cool.

My wife hated it though! :D
