Underrated Boots!!!

With the new boots now available i was reflecting on some of my fave boots from the past and considering which of these were great shows that dont get as much love as say state college or MSG etc...

I really love Boise Idaho from '00. Good mix of songs in the set and the band and crowd seemed excited to be there! Good cat stevens cover. Of the Girl, Tremor Christ, Nothing as it Seems, parting ways. A rocking start Of the Girl, Go, Corduroy, grievance, Last Exit.

Its a really good disc.

Any other suggestions for underrated boots? Like Osaka from '03. The Porch / Save You combo to finish the main set is to die for!

Columbus 00 always seems to fly under the radar. Very heavy in No Code and Vitalogy tunes. One of the top shows I attended.

I always enjoy Nashville 2003. The band are on fire, and it's such a fun show to listen to.

    Cincinnati 2000.

Heavy on Binaural, and it's the only time I've heard Eddie note that the bands is having an espescially good night. It shows, they are at the top of their game this night.

Charlotte and Noblesville get my votes for the 2003 tour. Both amazing shows I wish I had seen.

When people talk about the Mansfield trio of 2003, 7/11 always gets mentioned first as that had the 12 song acoustic preset ... so, there are a ton of songs for that show.

But, the 7/2 Mansfield show (the first of the three) kicks some serious arse ...

Set 1 - Oceans, Go, Hail Hail, Save You, Deep, Get Right, Dissident, I Am Mine, Even Flow, Help Help, Immortality, In My Tree, Light Years, Evacuation, Whipping, Grievance, Present Tense, Porch

Encore 1 - Thumbing My Way, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town, Smile, State Of Love And Trust, Leaving Here

Encore 2 - Soon Forget, Bu$hleaguer, Fuckin' Up

"Saturday night, St. John's, let's rock this fucking place." Maybe the personal nature of the show resonates more clearly if you're from St. John's and know some of the geographical references and whatnot...just a high-energy set that felt special to everyone in attendance. I think it translates to the boot, but I'm biased...

I see a lot of my favs from 2000, but I don't think anybody mentioned Albuquerque. I really like that show.

I second Osaka 03. One of my favorite boots. The lack of crowd noise makes it feel almost like a studio session. Pretty damn cool.

Also Mansfield (Boston) 98 (Night 1, I think -- the one with the quarter rant). Just a very emotional show.

Finally, Los Angeles I '06. L.A. crowds have a reputation of being passive, but they sound exuberant on this boot. A pretty cool setlist -- including Crown of Thorns -- and just a spot-on performance by the band.

The 'No Code' show. They played 7 tracks if I'm not mistaken...

    Borgata 2 '05

One of my personal all-time favs...

    Atlanta '94

The 'Dissident' 3 cd-set. Terrific energy on those discs...best live version of 'W.M.A.' I've ever heard...
