actually yes I did, fell alseep on the sofa early. It has been a mad week, for PJ and other reasons too. Thankful for the long weekend.
  • Slept like I did before I had kids! And also with a HUGE smile on my face! What an ordeal, but it all worked out in the end. I am one happy PJ fan today! These shows are going to be worth it, and I hate to wish summer away but I really can't wait for September! :D:D:D:D

I hear you. But don't wish summer away. It' cold up here. Got Ed in Detroit to hold me over.
  • I've slept like a baby through this whole fiasco....I'm not going to pay $2500 to go to Wisconsin for a PJ sponsored mini festival...no way...I get the appeal, but this is NOT what I expected from my favorite band for a 20 year celebration...well, wait a minute, maybe it is...

To hype up such an event as being something so spectacular and as some sort of gift for their career-long fans and then to insult them all by having yet another shameful, amateur ticket melt down and point their fingers in random directions to associate blame....eventually, it loses its shine if you start using your head...in this economy to have to feel like you won something by actually being allowed to spend so much money for this is really quite sad

Why couldn't PJ play at SOLDIER FIELD and make it a free show for their fan club members? ONCE? Would they really lose their shirts? No, they would not, but hey....I guess I cannot wax idealistic over 'vintage' PJ mentality

I was quoting Ed in his latest interview posted on TFT in which he laughs at one of his old quotes and says that it must be 'vintage'

WE hyped this thing... WE made it into the greatest thing ever. WE are responsible for the 'let-down' if you see it that way.

Ed is older and wiser now and can laugh at things he said in the past that he no longer agrees with.

Yes slept much better, with visions of my F5 key dancing in my head.

All I could talk about last night was how fucking smooth the Canada sales went yesterday though, man that was beautiful. Plane tickets booked, Toronto hotel is set, fired up for both shows, and then there's the little matter of the Ed solo show over the 4th of July weekend. This junkie is getting his fix.

I know what you mean, I was losing my mind because I was afraid I wasn't going to get the reserved seats. Thankfully it all worked out!

I would say that WE didn't hype anything, but a select few of YOU certainly did :D
