Anyone been/going to any of these shows?

Most seats are $25, including fees.....they use dynamic pricing, so if the posh seats don't sell at the orig. price of $180, they lower them first to $55, and closer to showtime, they are lowered to $25 .

He can be very hit or miss, but it is always a fun show!

Great to see such diversity at a concert!

Well I don't live in LA, so I won't be going, but I would like to see him live once. I'm not really a big fan of his music, but he is an amazing guitar player, and incredible to watch. Plus he's quite the showman.

    I went last night... EPIC.

It was incredible to see him in concert. A 3 1/2 hour set with 5 encores. All the hits... he actually yelled out at the start of one of the encores "Don't play with me, I got too many hits!" before starting into 1999.

It's just amazing to see that amount of music and energy flow from one 4'10" dude, who honestly might be one of the sexiest performers I've ever seen live.

Yay summer concert season! What a way to start it off. Can't wait for Eddie, Adele, and Pearl Jam.

Caught one of the shows at the end of April, snagging $25 seats the day of that were 6 rows off the floor right at his piano center stage. I've never been a huge Prince fan but heard he puts on a great show and he certainly did. It was incredible.
Was hoping to possibly get to one more before the end of the run but it looks like I'll have to settle with the one which was more than enough.

We went again this past Saturday. Such a great show.....we finally got to see him do more of the hits, such as Lets Go Crazy, Pop Life & 1999.

The fact that he can do 15 arena shows in the same city is amazing!

JOEJOEJOE - Did Mary J Blige really open for Prince on Saturday?

kasedoug - I only heard about how they reduced the ticket to price to those tickets today. That would've been pretty cool to be closer. I'd never been to the Forum and was pretty pleased with my seat. Sorta wish I had gotten tickets to Soundgarden there now.

I don't own any Prince albums and when he announced these concerts I wasn't sure I was gonna be interested in going, but I looked at the setlists and realized how much of his music I knew just from listening to the radio growing up. It was a ton of fun.

Yep, MJ Blige did a 45 minute set.....I know of her, but was never familiar with her music, so it was cool to be exposed to something new as an added bonus before Prince.

My wife and I loved these shows - got $25 seventh row center tickets one night, higher seats another night. Both were fantastic performances.

If you live in or around L.A. and you missed Prince at the Forum, you made a mistake.

Got VIP tickets to Soundgarden at the Forum and saw System of a Down there as well - I far prefer that venue to the Staples Center, where almost every seat feels a million miles away.
Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.
