I'm going to both NY solo shows and I'm looking into a hotel in manhattan but only found $300-400 rooms. Just wanted to know if anyone knew of any rooms under $200 in manhattan. thanks

The Belnord is great and under 200. You are definitely looking in the wrong part of town if that's the only price you are finding. Manhattan is way bigger than Times Square. In fact, don't go anywhere near Times Square during your entire stay.

If you stay at the Belnord you can walk to the Eddie Vedder show, too.

Awesome!! Great choice! One of my favorite parts of town and a real steal in terms of pricing!

Upper West Side is a great place to base yourself for your trip. Go for a stroll to and through the park, get breakfast on Amsterdam Ave., see a museum, and take in the neighborhood. And also venture out to other neighborhoods while your there. It's great that one of the best hotel deals in the city happens to be just a few blocks away from the place you have tickets to two nights of concerts at.
