anyone driving in from the US? I don't have a passport and airfare to calgary is very expensive. I just have an enhanced drivers license. I really want to do this show since its GA, I'd help with gas, beer, ect. Message me if anyone wants a road trip partner

I am # 326XXX and I was in the side seats in 2005, seats were fantastic, preferred them over the 14th row floor I got in Edmonton that year.

This will be my only show this year but I am bringing the wife (well soon to be at least) to her first show and she is pumped. Hoping I luck out again and get 1st row like I did for Vancouver 2009.

In 2005 the crowd was so amazing I am hoping for the same and more.

To the one guy what are talking about GA? Pretty sure the floor will be seated.

Hey guys I''m planning to fly in from Vancouver hoping to take the 3pm flight and get in about 5:15 local time.
What's transit like from the airport to the venue? Will I be cutting it close?

Airport's a little north of city...I don't live there and don't know how much their ring road is helping traffic these days, but would guess a little over an hour at rush hour...you planning to go straight to the venue or check in/drop bags somewhere first?
If you're going direct you shold be fine as long as your flight isn't delayed. If your flight is late or you need to make a stop (and want to be there fairly early) you could be cutting it close...cool, glad you're comin out!

Well the flight is only an hour and fifteen, and it's direct. I don't wanna skip class that morning (since i'll be skipping the next 2 days) but i guess i might have to. Just planning on bringing a backpack and I'll prob find someones car to throw my stuff in (drivin back ed->van).
Yea it'll be nice to meet you, a few drinks and a stephen harper bitch fest I feel is necessary teehee :D

There is a great high speed train that goes from the airport to downtown waterfront. It takes 25 mins to get from airport to downtown. Then you take #14 Hastings bus to venue. Total travel time should be about an hour depending on schedule and timing of buses. There is a web site that you can type in destinations and you get the trip planned for you, closer to the date you get bus times. Google BC Trans Link.
