    Those bootlegs are much cheaper on Ebay, and some people even sell them brand new.

    Those prices are way too high for official 2000 boots. I've seen 2003 bootlegs go that high on ebay, but I that's probably due to them not being sold in stores. You could pre-order them or buy them for a limited time after the tour, then they didn't make any more after that. Since they apparently only produced what was ordered, some ended up being rarer than others.
