Well, don't you think it's better to post it so if it was they can find out? Or not and just let it be... If i shouldn't have said anything then i won't in the future but i thought people who could possibly do something would want to know...

I'll delete my posts i don't care, was just trying to give someone @ tenclub a heads up....

email them if you're that concerned. they do have email addresses.

    nice try...
  • You're crazy. It's preferred seating, seats only available day of show. AND DO YOU REALLY THINK A SCALPER IS GOING TO USE AN OLD PEARL JAME AMES BROTHERS MSG POSTER AS HIS AUCTION PICTURE??? Taken right off expressobeans website, which tons of us fans know about, but your every day scalper certainly isn't aware of. It's a fanclub member. 10Club will take care of it. Hopefully this jerk has a good number....cause he's about to lose it, and the rest of us are about to move up a spot on the pecking order!

there you go! see... someone else agrees with me......

name one other place that you can get tickets before anyone and they don't give them to you until the day of the show... I've been going to concerts for years and never seen or heard of something like that.

and i didn't post direct link to the auction i posted the #...

And read description, sounds like whomever it is goes ever year and knows how things work. and if it was a PJ fan he would sell them for that price or sell them @ all...

just because you dont know about it doesnt mean it doesnt happen

it does, all over the country

this is hypothetical but my buddy works for coca-cola
coca-cola supplies MSG with soft drinks
my buddy calls up the account exec at msg and says
I need two seats to PJ on 6/25, can you help me?
Exec says sure no problem, but I wont know how good the seats are until the day of the show, you know PJ has that fan club and a lot of the good seats are taken, but I know PJ is your fav, so I will get you as close as I can. Promotional seats are held, but often not distributed (sometimes they are and this is one of the ways brokers get there hands on REALLY good tickets).

Day of the show comes, and my buddy picks up two seats third row at will call-face value.

Believe it and its part of the reason you rarely get decent seats through TM.

anyway, just saying, you dont know for a fact that the seller is a member

Sounds like you are just bitter that perhaps you didnt get tickets.

EDIT yes, its a good idea to send it to the 10C.
  • Even if it is a fan club member selling the tickets (which it likely is), I doubt they would be dumb enough to sell it through their own eBay account. It would be pretty easy to get a friend to sell the tickets for you. For example, my friend "Bob" posts the auction, buyer pays "Bob" and arranges to meet him around the venue, I go pick up my tickets and meet the guy at the arranged place and my friend gives me the money.

The only way 10c can stop this is if people are forced to go in the building as soon as they pick up their tickets (which is basically impossible in most arenas). Hate to say it, but this type of stuff is pretty inevitable.

    very true.

facts are good to be known.

I work for CBS, 9 out of 10x we pick up the seats day of show at will call w/corporate credit card and CBS ID.

however, from the e-bay post it does sound like it is a 10C member.

I'll agree with the hypothetical since it has happened a few times to me for hockey games. A friend knows someone, asks about seeing a game and we have no idea where the seats are until we pick up the tickets. I've been anywhere from a club suite to ice level to low in the 2nd level.

For those who were lucky enough to get good seats for Springsteen at the Meadowlands during that really long run of shows he did a few yers back they made all the premium seat holders pick up at will call (the limit was 2 tix). Both people had to be there, they put wrist bands on you and then escorted you into the building right away once you picked up the tix... No chance to transfer the tix at all...
