I love Pearl Jam Fan Moments

So today i was walking down the street in the middle of my college campus with my 2008 tour shirt on and on my backpack the the two eddie vedder buttons from the solo tour. I had my ear buds in and when i was tapped on the shoulder i turned around to discover someone wearing a 2008 tour hat who asked me what show i saw on the tour. We then continued walking for a couple minutes discussing the shows we had seen, turns out we had been at the same show once in 08 and twice in 06. I have to say i love moments like this, i just love what a community we have of fans.

thought i would share this and encourage others to share stories like this

    i love those moments too! but recently i get really excited when i see someone with a pj shirt on but they just walk away like im insane...those moment suck

    i spotted a guy at the local farmer's market one morning wearing a PJ tour shirt but i guess i was staring at him too hard because he ran away.

    I have Eddie up as my background on my work comp. along w/ other PJ memorablia around my cube...It is a good conversation piece w/ my customers, and it makes me more of a "real" personal as opposed to just an office worker.

    It is nice when they know who who Pearl Jam is, has made work more pleasant.

    shit almost the same thing happened to me! i was walking around campus and i saw this girl with an eddie vedder shirt and i had to say "omg i love your shirt he rocks!" and she said "thanks! i saw him recently!" and kept walking. i love moments like that :)

    damn that's cool :) i've never had that here, besides seeing a guy on the bus with a 'pearl jam - black' patch sewed onto his backpack, i'd never seen them before
