I've never really been much of a Nirvana fan, I have a handful of their songs in my Music library, but I've recently been listening to their Unplugged album and I'm blown away, this is unreal, I've heard it before but never really appreciated until know. And I glad I gave them another shot, Favorite song from the album right now is "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" I can't get enough of it.

Nirvana is a good band. I enjoy each of their albums. The unplugged is great, they really stepped outside the box, and utilized the unplugged show for what it is: covers, lesser known songs, special guests. It was done very well. 8-)

I've always thought of Nirvana Unplugged as a special magic moment in the history of music, not just of the band. It's something extraordinary to me. Other band's Unplugged performances are really good acoustic sets and fun to watch, but Nirvana's is just... wow.

Unplugged was the album that got me into Nirvana. When it came out I think I was 14, and just getting into music, prior to high school I didn't really care much about any music. I had heard some Nirvana, whatever was played on the radio (mostly just Smells Like Teen Spirit), and it didn't really do a lot for me at first, but Unplugged was more up my alley, and after that I got into their other stuff.

I think it was the third CD I ever bought, the first two being Vitalogy and Dookie by Green Day. Everybody had Unplugged back then, even if they owned none of Nirvana's other stuff. It reminds me of that line from Wayne's World 2 when Wayne is talking about Frampton Comes Alive, "If you lived in the suburbs you were issued it. It came in the mail with samples of Tide." When you got in someones car and turned on the CD player you didn't ask if they had Nirvana Unplugged, you just asked them if they had it in their car.

Somebody mentioned "Live At Reading", I just got it recently (the CD/DVD set) and was blown away. It was the first electric performance of theirs I had watched. I had seen Unplugged (not a typical set), and I owned their live album "From The Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah" (also wonderful) but I had never actually seen an classic Nirvana concert before.

I'm glad they finally released Unplugged on DVD a few years back, my old VHS was pretty worn out.

Their unplugged performance is great. And I was quite surprised - just recently I listened to the AIC unplugged session and it's really fascinating how similar Kurt and Layne sound ...

My fave Nirvana album was always Incesticide 8-)

I've never seen them live, but it seems they have been even to my hometown in the early 90s ...
