Good afternoon,

My apologies upfront if this is repetitive information.

I have read a few references to similar articles like this one. (http://gazettextra.com/news/2011/mar/01 ... ne-valley/)

I contacted Alpine Valley Music Theatre staff to find out what the deal is and this was their reply.

Hi Donnie:

While we were approved to allow camping, we will not be offering camping for any of our shows for the 2011 season. For the Pearl Jam shows, please check http://www.pj20.com for other lodging options.

Regards,
AVMT

I'm heading down with about 6 guys from various parts of Canada and plan to rent an RV in Chicago and want to find a decent place to park it that would be similar to the camping experience at The Gorge (and not crazy far from the venue). Places like Country View, Scenic Ridge, Bark River amongst others have been mentioned and wouldn't mind people letting me know their thoughts about them. As well, is there any open fields that are set-up as temporary camping sites closer to the venue as opposed to these more established campgrounds?

Thanks in advance for any information....looking forward to PJ20.

We got a spot at Pinewoods. I've never been there, but a lot of local people recommended it. Still some RV and tent spots open. It's about 15 miles from the venue.
