    Totally agree.

I love it all except the "I choose to feel" line, sounds like something a teenager trying to be profound would say. :p

Oh yes. That was quite the treat, as it was followed by an awesome, yet seemingly differently paced W.M.A. as the night before seemed slower.

Great song .. I agree it is under rated...
I especially have loved the few times I've seen them play it live ... it's so cool to see HOW they play it live ... with Mike starting it out on the 12 string, then Stone coming in with that hooky lead riff ... than when Mike shifts gears on the double neck guitar and goes to the 6 string for the scalding solo at the end...very very cool!

I know this one thing ... well!!!
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

sounds a good bit better live

makes an excellent opener or encore opener

prefer it with more distortion than gloss on the double neck 12 string

i've often thought, "if this is somehow their last song ever released, what a way to go out"

possibly top 5 all-time songs. hope it gets played and played and played in the years to come

the only pearl jam song that is solely penned by mike yet it's one of their best songs.

conclusion: mike needs to pen more songs.
