I can't see how you can want to make money off of a fucking charity.

hate to defend the guy, but he started the bidding at $.99. It's not his fault people are stupid and bid more than they can get it for new.

Not to speak out of turn, but he purchased his shirt...that money went to a charitable organization.

It is his possession. What he chooses to do with it is his own decision.

He could get his money back and donate the rest to a charity of his choosing or he can pocket the profits.

Check with Laura (FoxMop) on the availability of shirts in the future.

Thank You PBM and bettermanofthehour for giving the benefit of the doubt.
Actually, my intentions are to donate the additional proceeds back to Wishlist or The WM3. I was actually very surprised when bidding reached as high as it did when you can buy them new for $22. The buyer from ebay has backed out of the sale so I will be listing it again with the same intentions. I actually had a couple of ebayers email me asking about the shirt and actually I directed them to the Wishlist Foundation. Just cause someone sells something on ebay doesn't make them a "ninersfan".

i actually agreed with you. i mean, you already donated money to charity by buying the shirt in the first place, who cares what you do with the shirt afterward?

Kinda have to agree, I say this before the fact he say's money going back to wishlist. I bought about every wishlist poster of Pearl Jam and They sent me a couple doubles in Mystery poster, Am I suppose to just keep two of them or isn't my right to sell or trade for something I don't have?

Exactly :) If he'd started the auction, or had a Buy It Now price at higher than what he'd paid....it would be pretty awful....but I see nothing wrong with this :)

Thanks for the response and for your continued support of The Wishlist Foundation or whatever charitable organization you choose to support.

to the OP, there is aquote by Herbert Spencer that says " There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguements and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance-
that principle is comtempt prior to investigation"

like the song says nothing as it seems

I still don't understand why everyone gets up in arms about this. It's Ebay, that's what its for....to sell an item to the highest bidder. If you don't like it, don't go to that site.

True. I think it's funny that people monitor ebay and make posts here about it.

They have nothing better to do with their time, like little hall monitors in elementry school. Funny thing they forget, we still live in the USA and that is supposed to mean, we have freedoms to sell shit on ebay if we want to, even though I never have. Whatever, this board can really bring out the wrong in me sometimes, I fucking hate it!

And then I read threads such as Prayers for my son Vedder, and I wish we could be there for each other, like in this thread vs trying to find out who is doing what and for how much and who is going to bust them. Seriously aren't "the one's doing all the complaining" also the one's who are scared of big brother, quite ironic.
