THIS CHICAGO bAND is AWESOME... tons of passion, energy and artistry... very unique but not obscure (not that there is anything wrong with obscure) ...if you don't know them you should check out these links...

Fantastic band. Even better live in my opinion.

I saw them open for The Hold Steady and they stole the show, period. They played like they were in front of 50,000 people, it was insane. I couldn't believe the opening band was bringing so much energy to that tiny ass club. It should be noted that the lead singer is a fox too.

I happened to pick up this album for free at FYE. There is a coupon floating around somewhere on the net and it expires May 31st!

I absolutely love Company of Thieves! They are my favorite band in the world right now. Everybody should definitely check them out. They are a rock band with many different influences from Motown and soul to rock ‘n’ roll and jazz and blues and pop music.

Their new album Running from a Gamble blew me away. Their singer Genevieve sings has amazing energy and a great stage presence. They are playing the Bowery Ballroom in NYC on June 13 so please go check them out if you have the chance, they could use your support. They are a great live band.

If you go to their website you can hear their first single Death of Communication streaming for free.
