RIP Randy. He was the man. I liked when him and Sting were tag team partners. I know they were great friends in real life.

I loved watching wrestling on TV when I was a little kid...drove my mom nuts. (funny...can't stand watching WWE now)

    RIP Randy

 being a huge wrestling fan i was shocked. RIP man.

Fav match with him, had to be Wrestlemania III against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. He lost but it was one hell of a match.

Another fav against Bret Hart on Saturday Nights Main Event when Randy "wrestled" basically on one leg and won!

apparently, when the paramedics arrived on scene, they raised his arm twice to see if he was alive. on the third time it fell down and he wasn't responding.

    This makes me sad...Real sad
When a friend of mine called me today and told me the news, they knew I would be bummed.

Growing up in the 70's I was a big fan of wrestling. Dick the Bruiser, Da Crusher, Ox Baker, Jimmy and Johnny Valiant, Andre The Giant, etc. etc. After not watching for 7-8 years, the WWF made and Vince McMahon made Wrestling popular again in the mid 80"s. There wasnt a BETTER wrestler than Randy Savage! People say Flair was the best, and its a damn good argument. But in my eyes Randy Savage was the BEST! In his younger days he could move around that ring and put on a show, like no other. His Wrestlemania match with Steamboat is probably the GREATEST match you can possibly watch.

    Flair
    Steamboat
    Gagne
    Sammartino

    They were all great...
But Randy Savage was the best pure athlete, entertainer that ever Wrestled.....

    RIP Randy
You put on ONE HELL OF A SHOW!!!!!

Read a little tidbit on this yesterday...Macho Man and Steamboat actually choreographed that whole thing out move by move and would get together at Macho's house and rehearse it. The other wrestlers knew it was a classic immediately and were hugging and congratulating the guys backstage.

Its just an amazing match. Those guys just kept going, and going, and going.

Ive seen Flair wrestle for 30-40 minutes.
Ive seen Flair put on a HELL OF A SHOW....

I saw both Flair and Savage live, when they were both in their prime...

Does anyone remember this match from later in his career when he was at WCW? Him against Sting at Spring Stampede 1998 for the title in a no DQ. I was bummed Sting lost.

    Saturday Nights Main Event

Hogan Vs. Savage for the title. James Buster Douglas Refs, you remember what happens. You KNEW someone was gonna feel a big right hand from the boxing champ, and pretty sure it was going to be Hogan.

forgot about that. I remember it was suppose to be Mike Tyson instead of Buster Douglas but after Douglas beat Tyson he took his place.

There was one promo from Saturday Nights Main Event with Savage that I liked but I can't find it on youtube anywhere. I just remember "East of Jupiter, west of mars, north of saturn" or something like that. I'll have to look for it on my VHS tapes.

    loved his t-shirt also
