    i have worked closely with EMTs in my career. i'll never forget the ones that assisted me with one of my football players who had a c-spine fracture. that was insane. fortunately he had a good outcome and had no paralysis. i don't know what i would have done without those guys that night.

    Agreed. But, isn't this Nurses Week? I lose track of all this. I just know we had a big celebration for our Nurses this week b/c of all they do. I wonder if EMS is an outgrowth of that.

    Either way - Huzzah to all the life savers!

    Nurses week was the week before. I'm currently in LVN school, so they gave us free cookies and candy to show appreciation, lol.
