    I just spoke with the Manager at Grand Geneva...

    There will be a shuttle to the event.

    The manager gave me the email of the guy who is handling the transportation.

    I purchased VIP parking passes for both shows, I'm not sure yet what time I'll be heading into each, but I am definitely staying until the end for both nights.

    I'd be willing to take a couple of people for a fraction of that cost.

    I sent an e-mail to the guy at grand geneva. Anyone ask how they are handling the return trip? Could be trickier than running a few trips back and forth.

    Does anyone have a plan for friday night? Also, any daytime activities before the shows?

    If you are interested in shuttle service to and from the Grand Geneva, you should forward
    your information to Adam the Bell Captain. My correspondance with him is below.

    Hey Dan I am setting up the van runs. The cost is $40 per person round
    trip. The times are not set yet but he will be doing several runs each
    way He will drop off and pick up just outside the parking lot so that he
    does not get stuck in traffic for hours. If you are interested just give
    me a list of names and I will put you on the list.

    I have been told that you are managing transportation for guests looking
    to travel to and from The Grand Geneva Resort to Alpine Valley, for the
    two days of Pearl Jam at Alpine Valley over memorial day weekend.

    Can you provide details in regards to, the cost (per person per round
    trip) and the frequency that the shuttle will run during the weekend.
    Do you have the details of the first and last service leaving the resort
    and the first and last service leaving Alpine Valley.

    This is a wonderful service that you are providing your guests coming to
    your resort specifically for these concerts.

    So, who is staying at the Grand Geneva / Timber Ridge Lodge?! I'll be there with 8 others from Hamilton, ON. The price for a suite for 4 nights is $876.48 with taxes. We're shoving 5 people into a suite with 2 doubles and a pull-out so the price is $175.29 for 4 nights each.

    Also, i figured in celebration of PJ's 20th birthday, a bunch of us would splurge at the Geneva Chophouse on Friday, Sept 1st... the menu is here: http://www.chophouse411.com/chophouse_p ... Dinner.pdf

    This place has gotten excellent reviews on Chowhound.com

    I will be at Grand Geneva. I am in on the shuttle from the hotel to Alpine. I will probably be at the Wishlist event... but hat steakhouse sounds like a good start to the night. We will be a table for 4!

    Can't friggin wait for this weekend!

    Nice! I talked to the hotel about the shuttle service too, so we're booked for 8 people for both nights. We're actually staying at Timber Ridge Lodge, but I believe it's on the same property as the Grand Geneva. We'll see you there dude!

    I did. He still wants to charge me $40 per day eventhough I only need a ride back to the hotel

    Hey there fellow PJ20 attendees that are staying at the Grand Geneva Resort. Like many of you I was lucky to get 10C tickets and scrambled to find a hotel. Of course, I get the most expensive one but I had a few people going with me. Well - I just found out they are not coming so it looks like I am going solo. I tried to get a King as I had two doubles but they are booked so may have extra room? More importantly, it looks like I may have an extra 10C ticket for Sat-Lawn and Sun-Pavilion that I thought I would see if anyone staying at the Geneva Resort would like to get from me at face value? Also, have two VIP parking passes that I would like to get rid of as I talked to Adam and will go on the shuttle. I am driving from SW Ohio so will not be there until sometime later Friday. PM if there is an interest in the ticket or VIP parking passes and I look forward to seeing many of you there! Ticket may be gone but being proactive just in case....will confirm if gone.
