An awesome song. Is it not played because of the technicality of Jack's rhythm? Or is it out of respect?

I wonder if it's just a forgotten track at this point. Maybe they don't even like the song anymore.

I doubt they don't play it as a nod to Jack's contribution. If anything, they WOULD play it in acknowledgement of his stint with the band.

No one can play Jack like Jack.

"In My Tree" and "Given To Fly" are 2 songs that have such amazing drumming by Jack and they don't sound anything near the same anymore.

As a drummer, I'd rather have Jack's combination of technique and creativity than the best qualities of Matt and Dave A.

Please don't let this turn into an arguement about which drummer is the best, where everyone says Matt because he is the current drummer.

I love the song. You won't find any argument from me against the idea that it should be played live.

I was just trying to answer the original question of why they don't play it live anymore.

Bring it back to the setlist for once. Just make sure it's at the show I'm attending

This song is much better live than on record. Listen to the 96 Berlin show, great version. I dont think the song hasn't been played due to respect to Jack. In that regards, you can say "In My Tree" is a Jack song, but Matt used to kill it back in 2000. I think "Who You Are" might never be played again.

    Great imagery.

very true, great imagery!! but there's something about the arrangement-vocals, music, all of it, that just doesn't flow and makes it hard for me to listen to. it's kinda like come back for me...something is just off. oh well---i'll sing along anyway!

    well the songs are differant.

    they are almost like covers.

who you are is in a differant key for the band, there are some points in that song that are vastly differant, lowlight is like that too, who you are reminds me of something from magical mystery tour.

comeback is like an oldies sappy slow dance tune.

Also as a drummer I like Jack's technique, but his live show was more then lacking.

One of my absolute favorites. I'd love to hear it just once live. That song has an amazing vibe that just washes right over you. I think it would make for a wonderful opener and get the crowd in a feel good mood.
