Do you think there is more to be announced? So far it is pretty terrible. QOTSA are cool, Liam Finn is OK, the rest are simply horrible.

I love the fact Glen Hansard is on the bill. He is by far one of my favourite songwriters.

I think "Leave" on Swell Season is incredible :)

Gutted I cant make the festival....

I think if people knew they were going to see the big-name friends like Neil, The Who, Soundgarden, Grohl, REM, Bruce, etc., it might put them over the top to go. I know I would have considered the expense in a different light.

I was going to go for just PJ, but I actually like most of the other acts I know. If you guys haven't heard Joseph Arthur check him out, brilliant songwriter, love his stuff. Also I love The Strokes & Queens rock hard:). I guess based on line-up Queens 1 night & Strokes the other??? Ok can't wait

David Garza!! Man there's a random act there. I was a huge fan of his back in the mid 90's when he had his band Dah-Veed. I used to see him play in College Station, Houston, and Dallas. Good college memories!

Going to PJ20 is a forgone conclusion that has nothing to do with the rest of the lineup. There is no discussion on the lineup being a determining factor for attendance. Since I will be there, I just was hoping for some other good bands to see.

  • anyone heard any more truth to this -
Also scheduled to perform are the Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, John Doe, Joseph Arthur, Glen Hansard and Liam Finn. All bands are to play both days.

Not what I was expecting. A little odd, no?

Some major reaches here regardless of how good of friends they are.

I still think there will be big names during PJs sets....people like Neil, Harper, Cornell....that will play a few songs with the band. I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'd be shocked if this wasn't the case in some regard.

And you have to think it's possible that Ed is going to sprinkle in some solo stuff during the daytime.

As much as I like Neil Young, The Who, Springsteen, etc....The tickets would be outrageous.

I would much rather hear some new bands, discover some new music, and have the ticket be reasonable in order to see their anniversary show.
