Anyone have their new cd Simple Math? It's so great I've been spinning it nonstop for a week

Great band though...
-my dad after hearing Not for You for the first time on SNL .
Thought they did a great job getting the 5-piece string section to sound so big in places - really adds that extra dimension to the music.
Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.
There's a few other tracks on that site too... Simple Math doesn't sound as good without the strings, the rest are good though

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
I bet more PJ fans would love these guys...

What did you think about the Don't Speak cover? :corn:
Love Manchester. I actually got to meet Andy after their show in Green Bay a couple years back. It was Cage the Elephant and Manchester Orchestra opening for Silversun Pickups. Amazing show. Andy was in the parking lot and me and my buddy started talking to him. He was super down to earth, awesome guy. I asked him to sign my t-shirt which was a The Who shirt. He refused. Said something about Roger Daultry being a dick or something. So I had him sign my undershirt.
I love Mean Everything to Nothing and I'm a Virgin Losing a Child. I do not care for Simple Math though. There are a few songs that are good but overall it never did it for me. Was a major let down after Mean Everything. Maybe I will have to give it another shot.
I love the don't speak cover. Check this one out. Its Andy covering Whatever Happened by the Strokes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q84kblpMhsk
I love this song/video, like an 80's movie! if i'm drunk enough, i'll almost cry at the end.
Nice cover and nice story, would love to know why he dislikes Roger Daltry... He could get into a fistfight with Ed about that I think...
I feel the same way, Mean Everything to Nothing is nothing but a Masterpiece. Simple Math has some great songs (Virgin is awesome) but nothing compared to Mean Everything...
This is maybe the best acoustic version of any Andy Hull song I've ever heard:

Wish they could release this on vinyl or something...
I was pretty drunk so the details are a little fuzzy, but I think he might have said something about meeting him in a bathroom somewhere and Daultry was a dick, I cant really remember.
Damn those harmonies are amazing. Absolutely beautiful.
