I just called and put room on hold at the Americnn Inn in Burlington WI, just in case I don't figure out something better. It about 15 miles/30 minutes away from Alpine.

$100 bucks a night, they dont charge your card until you check in. You can cancel up to 48 hours in advance with no charge.
They still have rooms available as of 5 minutes ago.
Makes much more sense...

    This is where I'm staying. Stayed here for the Ice Bowl on the Binaural tour. It's pretty meh, but has a pool and a bed!

    personally I have never stayed there, but I really don't care much if its a total shit hole...LOL. reviews seem OK, and nothing seems too scary for me to put up with going there just to crash for a few hours.
    Makes much more sense...

    I don't care how crappy it may or may not be, but I booked. Thank you for sharing. I was out by the airport in Milwaukee originally and this one is about the same price and way closer!

    Haha good point! It doesn't really matter, as long as the company and energy is good from fellow ten clubbers
