I was not going to go to Ed's show in NY because of the hassle it would take to get there in Harlem. Should I just buy em Friday morning? Convince me.

who knows when or if ed will ever do a tour like this again....
  • If you are too lazy to get on the train to go see Eddie, then thats pretty pathetic. Get your shit in gear and go!

I hope you don't expect to be able to "just buy them" on Friday. I'm sure they'll sell out immediately. Not going to stop me from trying, of course!

Is Staten Island to Harlem really a big deal? Take it from someone who's seen him twice already and will still travel 5 hours to see him...its WELL worth it.

Jesus when I saw a thread called "Should I pull the trigger" posted by "Jeremy's Spoken," I feared the worst.

The A train from Penn up to 175th is only like 6 stops up.

Coming home... as it will be after 10:30 pm ... it will be like 17 stops!

But we'll own a car on THAT train! :)

175th is not Harlem. Its Washington Heights. Anyone from the City should know that.

Rise. Life is in motion. I'm stuck in line.
Oh rise. You can't be neutral on a moving train.

Yeah, I mean, hell, just a different borough, but still NY. I took a 7+ hour trip to see Pearl Jam and will go 5 hours to Toronto. All you need to do is ride a train or two.

I also feared the worst....especially being a counselor.

On a lighter note, just take the train, bus, ride a bike, hot air balloon, swim with a dolphin. For God's sake, its Eddie. Why would you question it? I went to 5 shows this this past tour...and 3 of them took me about 4 to 6 hrs to drive to. It's definitely worth every minute.
    ...44 shows...and counting....
