my guess, Saturday/Sunday only and tickets will be $100 per ticket per day.

Alpine tix are expensive. Hopefully lawn tix are discounted so people who cant afford the pricey pavilion can go for lawn.

I also hope 10C offers 2-day passes (discounted or not).

  • I'll just see them in Canada and Ed solo in Minnie. That should hold me over for a while.

I have a million questions about this......there is going to be alot to absorb in this announcement.

do we have any confirmation of number of shows? Is three nights a possibility, even if PJ doesn't headline? (is this how we get our TOTD set?) maybe a film screening or other bands or something? It is a long weekend, right?

do we have confirmation that 'destination weekend' means that tickets will be sold in packages for the entire weekend? Could the tickets end up sold individually like most multi-night stands in one city are? And yes, the pair vs singles thing is an issue for some if it's multi-night packages

and ya...will they offer travel packages, will they be reasonable, and if not, where the hell am I gonna stay? :D :?

If the festival is 2 days I'd guess $195-225 per ticket for both days including services fees.

$20 more here or there shouldn't make a difference since most of us will spend a lot more on travel, food and accommodations.

    and just think...

WHAT IF YOU SEE "TICKETS ARE ALLOCATED AT RANDOM"

    OR

"TICKETS ARE BASED ON SENIORITY AND WILL CONSIST OF A LIMITED NUMBER OF RESERVED TICKETS AND THEN THE REST OF THE TICKETS WILL BE FILLED VIA LAWN SEATS."

if the latter is the case... or there is even a chance of lawn from 10c.... i will take my chances at the public onsale or... yep... those greedy bastards that troll outside the venue.

That would totally suck if that happened.
  • Make them cost some serious coin so you will have to be a true fan willing to sacrifice rent and food for 3 months just to see PJ play a few 2 hr sets. Cant wait to get to WI, love the cheese curds.

This PJ20 festival, from everything I have heard is all about the fans and the bands appreciation for the fans for the last 20 years. Maybe I am wrong about my interpretation of what I have heard, but if this is the case, I wouldn't be surprised at all if tickets are around the normal cost of $150 per paid per day or cheaper..

yeah they're going to nail you with pairs only, you know it. i only need one ticket so it's going to be terrible for me. I'll need every bit of the $2,000 I saved. probably still won;t be enough. lol. and just think...
