did dennis rodman really write all of that about pearl jam? seems a little crazy, i had no idea he was that big of a fan.

and anyway, dennis rodmans version of alive is fucking awesome, you are wrong.

That was an excellent read, thanks for posting that. It reminded me of seeing Rodman at Lollapalooza (he used the bathroom in our VIP Cabana and my 3 year old son asked Dennis if he could go first because he didnt want miss Eddie sing "Betterman")
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.
  • i always liked the song black, red and yellow, which is about him. loved the way rodman played the game with the pistons and the bulls, at least when he's not kicking photographers or getting into trouble.

At least when he kicked the photog....he got him in the groin.

The funny thing is, Rodman would appear "normal" in today's NBA with the collection of "gangstas" in the league now.

and rodman would hardly be normal in any era of the NBA. He was a great rebounder, great defender but a bit nutty. At least it spawned a good Pearl Jam song..

What's even more funny is that you won't see or hear Jeff say many good things about Rodman. Jeff was the one who introduced the band to Dennis b/c Jedff had an assignment for a magazine as a guest photographer taking pics of Rodman. They hit it off, but Jeff was none to pleased that Rodman kind of used him to get to Ed. I don't think Jeff could less about Rodman anymore

Rodman was here in Missoula for this show, and man, he created quite the uproar. Montana is stifling homgeneous, even Missoula. So, to see a 6'9" tall black man with piercings and tatoos walking around downtown was quite the event! It was great.
I hold the pain, release me!
