    I'm pretty quick. I'd at least throw some cans at his head, maybe grab something longer than his knife and bash him over his fucking skull. Would people really just let the woman be murdered?

    it could have been unstoppable. he could have had a BIG knife, ie machete hid under his coat, or in his junk...pull it out, one swing from behind...BAM....one head to go

    I guess.. Say's he "stole a knife" so I'm picturing something no bigger than a kitchen or hunting knife. :?

    Yeah, if he had a machete, that would take more to stop him.

    A few years ago here in Canada, a person with schizophrenia attacked his seat mate on a Greyhound bus. He didn't know the guy or anything, just started stabbing him, beheaded, and cannibalized him. This was on a bus full of people. I think a lot of people would be hesitant to try and stop a maniac with a large knife. It is always easier to say if you weren't there. I'd like to think I would try to do something but I can't honestly say that I would. Sad, I know.

    you're right.... The old fight or flight, I have no idea what I would do. I am a bit if a woos, I have gotten in and broken up fights before, but I have no idea what would happen.

    I had a conversation with my mate like what would you do if someone broke into your house when asleep. Fight or pretend to sleep. We were both like we have no idea...

    less than 2 weeks later, he had some crazy guy jump into his car and try and hijack it, and he stayed and kept kicking him while others watched on....
