It might be stupid, but i'll ask anyway. Do all of these animated gifs on the site affect the speed of the site? Could all of this help to cause the site to crash when there are ticket sales.

    You're probably right. I'm sure it has something to do with slowing things down.

    As far as I understand the ticket sales system is independent of the board - so it shouldn't make a difference to that.
