ahh i'm glad in europe its general admission, that way its free for all. fair enough theres a lot of pushing and shoving, but in my opionion much better than being stuck in a chair.

I've never been stuck in a chair.

sorry, what i really meant was restricted to the area you were allocated, if you get what i meant,( so if you got near front was ok, but stuck at the back, when you'd rather be up front, then that sucks), didn't mean that you just sat for the show, obviously should get up and rock the fuck out.

I can say that living in a major city (Boston)that has become a destination trip for many fans definatly has its disadvantages. No complaints from me but I have a pretty good fan club number(150xxx).Back when you could only get tickets to one show i was sitting in the second row center in mansfield that was in 98. In 2010, i sit in the 17th or 18th row. Once agajn no complaints but now that you can by multiple shows people with better 10c numbers than me have pushed me back. If i was just joining the 10c now i think i would rather take my chances with ticketmaster to get tickets. Too many members now, you would probably get better seats elsewhere. Also depends on where you live. Im sure at a smaller midwest venue i could sit first 3 rows but not in boston or new york.

Same here. Philly and NY for me now have pushed me to about row 15 in philly and 1st few rows sidestage in NYC(which I loved actually. Would much rather be there. You are right though going to a show that isn't a travel destination definitely gets you closer.

It does seem with each passing tour the 10c has a harder and harder time dealing with ticketmaster and the vanues (which are mostly under contract with clear channel).

I think the 10% rule has been around for about 10 years now, but 10c managed to find ways around it for the first few tours after it was implements (but now seem to struggle alot more with it). Ticketmaster also doesn't like to give out the best tickets in the house, for other fan clubs, they scatter the tickets, so I think the 10c is probably struggling with that.

That being said if they'res 2000 tickets. 50 tickets a row, and you have a newer fan club number. You're talking 40 rows back on the floor, or maybe up in the wings?

I think i went thru Ticketmaster for my 98 and 00 shows...seats were not great except for Barrie which was a GA show.

My 10C tickets have always been good seats but not great. I've never been on the floor, but usually 3-5 rows up one section from the side of the stage. IMO these are much better seats than being in the back half of the floor (i've been on the floor for lots of other shows)....
