He was executed for the crimes he committed with U.S & British financial and political support.
gaining the weapons from the us and brits does not mean that when he used them on the Kurds he was justified in doing so...thus shifting responsibility from the bomb maker to the bomb user...kind of like my other thread...except in that case it was the us responsibility for dropping the bombs...interesting how that works...seriously, is there anyway to answer a question without involving the US as the chief cause for everything ever done that was shitty?that’s right! Can’t we all just get together and focus on our real enemies: monogamous gays and stem cells… - Ned Flanders
It is terrifying when you are too stupid to know who is dumb

I didn't say he was justified in killing kurds because he bought the weapons from us. The British and Americans didn't just sell him those weapons, but we sought to protect him after those atrocities were carried out. For example, Tony Blair was in the opposition party at the time and when a vote was tabled asking for official condemnation of the gassing of the Kurds he abstained from voting. Fast forward 20 years and he used the example of Falluja when telling the world that Sadaam needed to be overthrown and Iraq invaded.
Also, where the weapons originated does matter. There are laws in place to prevent arms beomg sold to dangerous regimes who are likely to use them on civilians. So in the case of Sadaam gassing the kurds, or the Israeli's dropping white phosphorous on Palestinian civilians, the U.S is directly culpable.Post edited by Byrnzie on0 -

Is it terrorism that's so bad, or who's doing it?
domestic terrorism is different though,
When the I.R.A set off bombs on English soil, how does that constitute domestic terrorism?0 -

And the world keeps on spinning and spinning. But Bin Laden is dead and I believe that is a good thing and I thank the Military personnel that got it done and everyone involved, including BO who gave the orders to go.
Dont forget Abraham Lincoln for his crimes against the Confederacy or FDR for his crimes against the Nazis or JFK for his crimes against Vietnam. We get it. You hate America.0 -

English colonialism has nothing to do with the Zionist ambition of stealing all the land between the Jordan river and the Mediterranean sea.
The settler movement - post 1967 - also has nothing to do with early 20th century British colonialism.
Nice try.0 -

Great, genius.
Now can you explain to me why illegal, Jewish-only settlements are still being built?
Or are you just gonna call me a cunt again, and then accuse me of being an anti-Semite who also enjoyed the fact that 3000 Americans were killed during 9/11?
I'm on the edge of my seat in anticipation.0 -

I appreciate your continued appreciation of my intellect. Not sure what Jewish settlements have to do with Bin Laden's death so Ill pass on that subject since its totally irrelevant and I don't care. When you open up one more of your obsessed with all things Israel Ill consider a response.0 -

That's impressive. How long did it take you to think that up?0 -
