Excellent, thanks! I'm going to see him at the end of the month in San Diego. Not sure how long Hotel Shampoo has been out overseas, but it just came out in the states last Tuesday. Some great tracks on it.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Be sure to get there early to catch the support band (who are also Gruff's backing band on this tour) - Y Niwl. They're an amazing young Welsh instrumental surf rock group - check some of their stuff out here: http://yniwl.bandcamp.com/album/y-niwl-album

Oh, and thanks for sharing the videos OP - great stuff.

No worries, I'm just glad to see there are other SFA/Gruff fans on here :D

It was really cool to see Gruff in such an intimate venue. It would have been good if Y Niwl had been there but The Ex only holds about 150 people and it was perfect for a solo show.

If anyone hasn't heard 'Hotel Shampoo' yet, it's streaming on Gruff's website:

Caught part of the show last night. Gruff didn't come on till after 11pm, and given that I had work this morning (plus kids to get ready for school), I couldn't stick around for the whole set.

What I saw, I really enjoyed. Y Niwl was really good as an opener, and surprisingly good as a backing band (given that it was straight surf music for the opening set).
