Sometimes the reviews don't have anything to do with actual product. Like someone would vote the PJ20 dvd 1 star because it wasn't the deluxe version.
They're perfectly fine. There's really nothing to complain about except for the weak selection of bonus tracks. (And even then, they might be saving the best ones for another project.)
Previous CD remasters either used bad sources and bad EQ (US Hollywood) or were smothered in noise reduction (UK Parlophone). Only the really old UK EMI CD's stand up to these new remasters, and they're really hard to find unless you live in England, plus the volume levels were really low. These new remasters totally fix all of those past problems.
