Is it me or do the words they use sound like a bad 1980's gladiator movie? "Any harm done will open the doors of evil upon you doubly" (come on). ""Their happiness will turn into sorrow, and their blood will be mixed with their tears" (something Arnold would say in Commando).

i think that that is just how the translater translated the message. some languages have words with no english equivalent, so the translator does the best they can with the words available.

that said, it does sound like something from a warlock in a "choose you own adventure" book or something.

I'm not entirely sure why, but the first thing that came to mind was "Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend."

Which, of course, led me to "He was so deadly, in fact, that his enemies would go blind from overexposure to pure awesomeness."

I agree. Most likely a translation issue. When translated the other way around, I wonder what some of the things we say sound like to them!

Looking back at this thread I would tend to disagree. I do think they (terrorist) talk like this. They live in the stone ages and take everything the Quran says to heart. So they talk like the Quran. This would be like someone talking verbatim of what the bible says.....all the time. In fact most of them are uneducated expect maybe some at the top and they talk like this to other terrorist because thats all they understand.
