Lighting question..

Why do some PJ concerts have the lights on for the whole concert? And most others are dark, and have a great feeling (I can tell, since I never have gone to a show yet)..

Shows like Ohio '06, and Hawaii... I would HATE that, the whole PJ experience is better in a dark arena, so you can close your eyes, rock out and take it all in.. am I right? Or am I wrong and every concert has lights on at some point..

With that said PJ this summer MSG both Nights baby!
2008 - MSG 6/24-6/25
2010 - Newark 5/18 MSG 5/21
2011 - PJ20 9/3-9/4
2012 - MIA Festival 9/2
2013 - Wrigley Field 7/19 Brooklyn 10/18-10/19 Philly 10/22

    no the house lights are usually down until the end of the show when the bring them up for RITFW and/or Baba and YL.

    its actually kind oif cool to be able to see everyone rocking out at the end, i would assume this is why eddie wants them up at the end.

    yeah i dont know it juts sort of adds to the spectacle, its pretty cool for such a simple thing I remember the first time i saw them i just watched the crowd for the entire last two songs looking for who was rocking out the hardest. Its cool man, you'll see !

    I was commenting all night with my friends at MSG I in 03 how cool it was for the garden to have their lights out most of the show.Better to video for their dvd I guess. It made for an intimate and trippy experience. Plus it makes it easier to burn! The next night lights were on, not nearly as intimate.
